The Body in a Different way

Connect to your internal compass

Find your inner compass
4 days to integrate the wisdom of the elements through shamanic practices and a somatic approach to qigong.

September 30 - October 3, 2023

Gite de Faragous - Camares, Aveyron

In the beginning were the directions, then the elements. Raw nature, they give us benchmarks on what makes us up and what we are going through. All the great traditions of wisdom and healing speak of them: they are our compass, essential to our balance.

During this retreat, the instinct of the body will guide us to find our bearings and navigate the elements, in order to allow us to find coherence, overcome what limits us, and be fully in our incarnation.

The frame:

In this course you will find the shamanic tools of the medicine wheel, trance, as well as a somatic approach to qigong, the elements and what they teach us; shamanic drum journeyings, meditations and circles.

Frequently asked Questions

Is there a qigong prerequisite?

I accompany you with a different approach to qigong that is suitable for beginners and those who have never practiced this discipline. It's not about qigong classes, but about using the movements of an ancestral wisdom and their link with the elements. It is necessary to be able to move, but everyone will go at their pace, the movements can be adjusted.

Do you need to be familiar with shamanic practices such as the shamanic journey?

This course will also be very suitable for those who have never used this practice, there is no 'level'. I accompany you to the sound of the drum, with the elements, so that everyone can let what must come.

What about the substances used in certain shamanic approaches?

I practice the dry way, without substance. The tools used have proven themselves to guide us.

Is this suitable for me?

There are no pre-requisites or levels for this course. Everyone will find what is right for them at that time. You have to be open to modified states of consciousness (trance is nothing more than that), to a somatic practice.

This may suit you if you are looking for your benchmarks, how to move forward in a changing world, how to be closer to what inspires you, but also if you feel called to do something else in your life, to do things differently and that you are in a phase of questioning, or have started a transformation.

"Another way of working on oneself which opens up to the other, the sharing of one's feelings, of one's experience and which happen to be baths of love. These appointments, a little out of time, bring us inner peace, a better perception of ourselves and of others.

"Claire has an unusual approach in relation to our socio-cultural system, a system that wants to see us get into the nails (...). Claire offers a completely different approach, which goes to the depths of the human, of the meaning of our lives, she seeks the meaning of what is expressed in the body, in the emotions..."

Meet your guide

Good morning! I am clear.

I am passionate about the depth of being, the living, the complexity of what we go through, the life that puts us on the path and how to move forward in this changing world.

My professional experience of more than 25 years in intense, complex environments, mainly abroad, has led me to want to go ever further, to explore, to seek bridges between cultures, between worlds._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

In 2006, a first transition and the need for meaning and values made me leave New York and the world of art auctions, for humanitarian work and countries in conflict. Faced with the end of the human in these conflicts and with post traumatic stress, it was meditation that showed me that we could overcome it, transcend it. It set me on my way, forged my abilities, and made me find the resources to move forward.

Yoga, Qigong and meditation teacher trainings have given me a solid knowledge of the energy structure of the body, the flow of energy, the connection between soul and body. They also give me a solid grounding and a pragmatic approach. My posture is based on meditation (Vipassana) which I have been practicing since 2010: a posture of observation, non-judgment, non-attachment and equanimity.

Added to this, training in energy, shamanic practices and dowsing, opened the spaces of connection. I constantly pursue my research and explorations, my training, in order to accompany people in transition, as close as possible to themselves, in this world which is being set up.
